Julie has been part of the Malcolm Andrew business since 1989, joining the company when there were only two members of staff with the task of setting up and running an office environment as well as expanding the stationery business.

As the company established and developed, so did Julie's responsibilities and as a reliable and trusted member of the team, Julie's role progressed to management, taking on the sales and purchase ledger as well as the wages and all personnel issues, earning the title of company secretary in 2003.

When the company decided to embark on an ISO quality accreditation, Julie embraced the training and in 1999 successfully achieved full certification for the business and has maintained it regularly since.

​

Julie was also involved with maintaining internal Health and Safety issues, ensuring that the staff work in a safe and healthy environment as well as obtaining and maintaining CHAS (Construction Health & Safety).

All of Julies effort were rewarded at Christmas 2004 when she was made a Director of Malcolm Andrew whilst still keeping her title of Company Secretary
